:: Visas (Incheon/Jeju)

 ENTRY INTO JEJU ISLAND

Being designated as a Special Self-Governing Province, passengers from most countries may enter Jeju for a maximum period of 30 days without a visa. Double check with your travel agent or call the Korean Embassy nearest you and find out if your country has entered into a visa waiver agreement with the Korean government. 

Nations excluded from visa-exempt agreement : 11 countries including Cuba, Syria, Macedonia, Iran, Iraq, Afghanistan, Palestine, Ghana, Sudan, Nigeria and Libya.

 ENTRY INTO SOUTH KOREA (Seoul or Incheon)

If you do not need a visa for Korea or already have one, you can fly into Seoul Incheon International airport (usually is a cheaper route), and from there get a shuttle bus to Kimpo, the domestic airport, and from there fly into Jeju.

 DIRECT ROUTE TO JEJU

Visitors who need a visa for Korea cannot come to Jeju through Seoul or Incheon International Airport. They need to fly directly to Jeju from another country. There are three foreign ports (countries) where you can transit. They are Japan, China and Taiwan. Therefore, when you make your travel plans to visit Jeju Island, please make sure that your flight transits at either of the three countries.
